  • Association of Independent Schools, New South Wales. Member, Academic Reference Group, Association of Independent Schools Leadership Flagship Program. Contribution of a filmed contribution to the program. (Brian Caldwell)
  • Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). Member of the ACER team evaluating the implementation and impact of the Empowering Local Schools initiative of the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) implemented through National Partnership Agreements with jurisdictions around the country (2012-2014). Preparation of a Review of Literature; jurisdictional visits to state authorities and organisations representing Catholic and independent schools in Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia, and preparation of associated reports; attendance at a meeting of the Reference Group.   • Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL). Filmed contribution to a national flagship program of AITSL to support participants in the implementation of the Empowering Local Schools initiative of the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) implemented through National Partnership Agreements with jurisdictions around the country.   • Australian Primary Principals Association. Preparation of a communiqué on key contributions and recommendations arising from 2012 Trans-Tasman Conference of Australian Primary Principals Association and New Zealand Principals Federation held in September. Presentation of communication at a meeting of APPA National Executive, Canberra (Brian Caldwell)
  • Bell Shakespeare. Evaluation of Bell Shakespeare Learning Programs (2012-2013). Observations, site visits, student surveys, teacher surveys, interviews with key staff. (Tanya Vaughan)
  • Department of Education (Tasmania). Evaluation of selected initiatives in the 2012-2015 Strategic Plan of the Department of Education with a focus on the role of Principal Network Leaders appointed for the first time in 2012. The evaluation comprised interviews with senior members of the Department, an online survey of principals of all schools in Tasmania, case studies of eight schools and preparation of a report.   • Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (CEECD) (Victoria). Project on Options to Secure Additional Resources for Government Schools in Victoria conducted in partnership with Jim Spinks, All across the Line. Educational Transformations was responsible for matters related to contributions of philanthropies, non-for-profits and corporates, and building the intellectual capital of staff employed by DEECD. Stage 1: Review of Literature; Stage 2: Updating review of literature and interviews with key stakeholders. (Brian Caldwell)
  • Independent Schools Queensland (Association of Independent Schools Queensland). Critical review of work undertaken by ISQ of a review of literature and a matrix to guide school self-review. (Tanya Vaughan)
  •  Southern Metropolitan Region (SMR) (DEECD) (Victoria). Study of Learning Local (SMR) in partnership with the Bayside Glen Eira Kingston Local Learning and Employment Network (LLEN). Interviews and preparation of a report. (Fiona Longmuir)
  •  SpecialistSchools and Academies Trust (SSAT) (England). Services to support Australian affiliates of International Networking for Educational Transformation (iNet) including the hosting in partnership with the Australian council for Educational Leadership (ACEL) (Victoria) of a strategic think tank in Melbourne, May 8, and facilitation of the NOVA service of the Global Schools Innovation Network. These services continued from June to December, as a service of Educational Transformations, after SSAT went into administration. (Brian Caldwell, Anna Kitney, Fiona Longmuir, Annabel Trneny)

A project of The Song Room funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) conduced with the support of Education Queensland.
